Meet Dr. Scott Weed
Scott Weed, D.D.S.
Dr. Weed received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, CA. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Weed was commissioned a Lieutenant in the Navy and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the United States Naval Dental Center, Okinawa, Japan. He spent 3 years in Okinawa as part of the III Marine Expeditionary Force. After his honorable discharge from the military he practiced general dentistry for two years with his father, Dr. Robert F. Weed, in Fallon, NV.
Dr. Weed left general practice and completed a two-year specialty program in Endodontics at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. It was in Los Angeles that Dr. Weed began to realize the need for high-impact, quality continuing education for all dentists: the Reno Endodontic Continuum was conceived.
Since his time in the Navy, Dr. Weed has sought out and associated with the best mentors. He was exceedingly fortunate to practice as an endodontist with his primary mentor, Dr. John A. Khademi, in Durango, CO. Dr. Khademi is at the razor's edge of critical thinking in dentistry and has bona fide domain expertise in digital imaging technology.
Dr. Weed is married to Whitney (Wilson) and together they have 6 wonderful children. Their family is central to their attention and they enjoy all the activities common to raising young children. They love Reno and the unique beauty of Northern Nevada.
